EVE OF DESTRUCTION POSTPONED - PLEASE SEE REPORTS FOR DETAILS - Officials of the Lebanon I-44 Speedway have postponed this Saturday's activities due to the tragic events which took place on Tuesday in both New York and Washington, D.C.

About I-44 Speedway: Built in 1983, the Lebanon 1-44 Speedway has become a favorite of fans and drivers alike from across the nation. Lebanon 1-44 Speedway boasts numerous racing lanes creating one of the raciest atmospheres in the NASCAR Weekly Racing Series.

Another unique atmosphere at the Lebanon 1-44 Speedway is the "WILDSIDE". These loyal racing enthusiasts have been known to be in line to get their favorite parking spot before the race teams from Missouri, Kansas, Oklahoma and Arkansas arrive at the 3/8 mile high banked facility. Fans bar-b-Que., play sports, and become friends for a lifetime while on the "WILDSIDE". During parade laps it is not uncommon for the fans to flash their lights and honk their horns in appreciation of all five divisions competing weekly. Come early, pack a cooler and bring your family and friends to experience the "WILDSIDE".

track.jpg (21844 bytes)Fans are treated to an excellent view of all the racing entertainment from the general admission seating, which offers terrific site lines from its hillside arrangement. The Lebanon 1-44 Speedway does not allow the consumption of alcoholic beverages in its general seating area, making it more family oriented.

The Lebanon 1-44 Speedway has become a regular stop for the 'stars & cars' of the NASCAR Re/Max Challenge Series, every Labor Day Weekend. The top drivers in the region will battle for 150 grueling laps on the Ozark highbanks. With many tourist destinations within driving distance, this will make for the perfect summer get-a-way.
