Waterford, WI, April 30 – The season opener for the Midwest Enduro Series is only hours away. The Series 25th season begins on Saturday May 2 at the historic Milwaukee Mile paved oval. Over 75 entrants are expected for the “Bema Polytech / Klement’s Sausage 150”.
All 2008 Series champions are set to defend their crown. Tom Barnharst of Wind Lake, will look for his fifth championship in 2009 and try for a third consecutive title in the “Stock Car” division. Mark Johler of Des Plaines, IL, will look for his second title in the “Small Car” division as well as Julie Hayes of Monee, IL, in the “V-6 Series” division.
Drivers from five different states are expected to compete in the 150-lap event.
The Loser’s Car Club of Wisconsin will display their show vehicles on the track during the program and sign autographs.
The pit gate opens at 8:00 am., grandstand at 10:00 am., and an autograph session for the fans will begin at 12 noon, Klement’s Sausage race at 12:35, and a driver introduction at 12:45 with main event to begin at 1:00 sharp. Grandstand tickets are $15 and kids 11 & under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Pit pass is $25.

The Series will also have cars on display during the “Drive the Mile” on Sunday May 3 at the track.
