MINOT, N.D. (June 1) – A $5,000 to win main event for IMCA Modifieds wraps up the June 7-9 Summer Nationals Roughrider Classic at Nodak Speedway.
Modifieds race for $500 to win and a minimum of $100 to start Sunday and Monday. Top six finishers on Sunday advance to the inside row, while the top six on Monday advance to the outside row for Tuesday’s main event.
“B” features and last-chance qualifiers on Tuesday will complete the 24-car starting grid. The feature pays a minimum of $500 to start and the winner joins the ballot for the 2010 Fast Shafts All-Star Invitational.
IMCA Sunoco Stock Cars race at Minot all three days. IMCA Sunoco Hobby Stocks are on Monday and Tuesday programs.
IMCA national, regional and Smiley’s Racing Products State points will be awarded for each program.
Pit gates open at 3 p.m. and the grandstand opens at 4:30 p.m. each day. Hot laps are at 5 p.m., drivers’ meet ings are at 5:30 p.m. and racing starts at 6 p.m.
Pit passes are $25. Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $5 for students 6-14, and five and under get in free.
