Madison, WI- For the first time ever, the Midwest Motorsports Racer’s Expo will be held at Madison’s Alliant Energy Center Veterans Memorial Coliseum. The event will feature the popular Racer’s Auction and Trade Show as well as enhanced seminar sessions and the all new Youth Racing Expo over a two day period, Friday and Saturday January 8 and 9, 2010 all under one roof.
“Everyone has been real positive about this move to one traditional date in a central location.” Commented Trade Show Manager Dave Noelke during a recent visit to the venue. Previously events have been held in both Green Bay and Rockford, IL, now those two events have been combined into one large event. “My phone has been busy and there will be many exciting details released in the coming weeks.” To date over two dozen commercial registrants representing the who’s who of Midwest Short Track Racing have secured trade show space during the Expo with additional businesses finalizing their contracts in early December.
In addition to the Youth Expo, seminar sessions will include Shock Technology, Dirt Racing Set-ups, Short Track Champions Round Table, Crate Motors and series meetings encompassing the ASA Midwest Tour, BRP Big 8 Series presented by Gandrud Chevrolet, Mid-American Stock Cars and the newly formed ASA Midwest Sportsman Tour. A complete Seminar schedule as well as list of exhibitors will be released in late December.
New ‘racer friendly’ starting times for the Friday auction will also catch the attention of many with doors opening at 3pm and the sale starting at 4pm. The traditional Saturday start time of 9am will remain for the final day of auction and trade show activity.
