(Denmark, WI) - January 5 - Luxemburg Speedway track manager Rick Goral has announced the 2009 season banquet will be held Saturday, January 30 at Beverly Gardens in Denmark.
Champions will be crowned in the IMCA modified, stock car, northern sportmod, hobby stock and sport four divisions. Drivers who finished in the top ten in points in each of the respective divisions will haul home hardware. Rookie-of-the-year awards will also be doled out, as well as the newly-named Walter Christensen Memorial Sportsmanship award.
The cash bar starts at 5 p.m. with a chicken and ribs dinner at 6 p.m. A slide show presentation will take place. Several door prizes donated by sponsors, fans and race teams will be given away and DJ Dave will spin tunes after the awards presentation.
Tickets are $22.00 per person. The deadline to order tickets is January 23. After January 23 tickets will be $28.00 at the door. Absolutely no tickets will be sold at the door. To order tickets, mail checks to Luxemburg Speedway, 501 Sunset Court, Denmark, WI 54208. Checks should be made payable to Lakeshore Motorsports Promotions LLC.
