Midwest racing enthusiasts will not want to miss this weekend’s Midwest Motorsports Racer’s Expo taking place Friday and Saturday at Madison’s Alliant Energy Center, Veterans Memorial Coliseum. Nearly one hundred consignors have preregistered their new and used racing items, with twenty vehicles already set to go through the auction ring on Saturday afternoon.
Both asphalt and dirt race teams should come ready to buy as multiple modifieds, two turn-key late models, late model rolling chassis, a pristine turn-key Mid-American Stock Car, various sportsman and street stock machines, haulers, trailers and an array of other racecars and go-karts will begin selling on Saturday at noon, in addition to nearly two-thousand lot items. Those interested in joining some of the region's top manufacturers by consigning items, are invited to call the auction hotline at 815-703-0285. Consignments will be taken beginning at 2pm on Wednesday.
Expo doors will open at 3pm Friday to allow viewing of the items as well as admittance into the growing trade show. The auction will begin at 4pm Friday with five hundred sale lots, while doors open at 8am Saturday morning, the auction goes live at 9am.
