The Chaplain's Corner
By Todd Christopherson

Wow can you believe we are at the end of the season already? It does not seem possible. Friday night we crowned champions. I was thinking about that and looking at some of the trophies and medals around the house and even my ordination plaque. I thought about the work that went into to each of them, the work you put into the cars to get the trophies, and other things we work hard for. Then I began to think about how there are a few trophies I/we have lost or forgot where they are. I thought how all the trophies will be in that category some day. Then I thought that if we know Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are given crowns that will last for eternity an even better we will be allowed to cast them in worship at Jesus' feet and proclaim "You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for You created all things and by Your will they were created and have their being." (Revelation 4:11) That is the crown, the trophy I am after. One I can place before God.

I hope you want that also. I hope you know you will be in Heaven.

Let's pray together this week for Mitch, soldiers, Dennis Schwin, and the country we live in remembering 9/11 and those who died and have died since serving freedom and the USA!

See you at the Fall Classic and have a great day racin' in the SONshine,

Todd

That's all for this week. See you at the Fall Classic.
