Fan Favorite Winners Announced

Congratulations to our 2009 MIS Fan Favorites.

Favorite Drivers
Late Models: Zack Riddle
Area Sportsman: TJ Goldade
Hobby Stocks: Don Fassett
Bandits: Chester Ace
Legends: Max McNamara

Best Appearing Car: Bobby Wilberg: Area Sportsman #28

The majority of the votes we received were for the Late Model division. Ryan Goldade had the early lead but Zack Riddle picked up a strong email vote. Then, when it looked like it was a two driver race, a surge of Mike Storkson votes came in right up to the last minute of voting. Riddle would win the voting by 23 votes over Goldade and 30 votes over Storkson. Tyler Kelley and Jeremy Miller rounded out the top five.

TJ Goldade won the Area Sportsman vote followed by Don Wickstrum. Don Fassett edged Chad Knaus in the Hobby Stock race while Chester Ace won the Bandits followed by Kyle Padfield, Cory Skolaski, and Teresa Verburgt. Max McNamara edged Hermann Greinig to win the Legends division.

Nineteen cars received votes for best appearing car with Wilberg edging Riddle for the win.

Drivers will receive their awards at our annual banquet in early 2010.
