Points leader Jared Siefert of Green Bay passed Green Bay’s Kyle Lentz on lap 11 and went on to collect the 20 lap IMCA modified feature at 141 Speedway in Francis Creek.
A total of 96 cars pulled through the pit gate, including 28 IMCA modifieds, 21 stock cars, 14 northern sportmods, 16 street stocks and17 sport fours.
Siefert started 10th on the grid and carefully plucked his way to second place by lap nine. After a restart on lap 10, Siefert coasted around Lentz to take the victory. Green Bay drivers Eric Van Iten and Eddie Muenster squeezed past Lentz to take second and third, respectively. Lentz took fourth followed by Seymour’s Jamie Schmidt.
Green Bay’s Josh Long fought off a fast closing Johnny Whitman of De Pere in the final laps to win his second, 20 lap IMCA northern sportmod feature of the year. Whitman padded his points lead with his second place. Trailing at the checkers were Oconto’s Rob Charapada, New Franken’s Brad Lautenbach and Oconto’s Travis Cain.
Pulaski’s Rod Snellenberger passed Gillett’s Kyle Frederick for the lead on lap eight and dodged a pair of late cautions to win his fourth, 20 lap IMCA stock car feature. Frederick took second place, followed by Rod’s 17 year old son Devin Snellenberger, Greenleaf’s Jamie Colwell and Oconto’s Scott Stewart.
Kewaunee’s Ed Anschutz swept action in the street stock class. Anschutz won his heat and passed Beaver Dam’s Aaron Streblow with five laps remaining to win the 20 lap main feature.
Sheboygan’s Mike Zitzer swept action in the sport fours, winning his heat race and his third 20 lap feature.
Racing will resume next Wednesday night at 7 p.m as American 3Fab of Green Bay, Tri County Heating of New Franken and 1st Choice Auto of Green Bay.
