Nick Neville started racing quarter midgets at the age of nine. Since then Neville has found much success behind the wheel and added the ASAMT to his already impressive resume’.

In his first season with the ASAMT, the Mackinaw, IL driver of the #32 Dixie Chopper Lawn Mowers sponsored Monte Carlo proved to the competition that he was one to be contended with. As an ASA Midwest Kwik Trip Touring Star, Nick competed in all 12 events and accumulated one top five and four top ten finishes including a 3rd place podium finish at Norway Speedway in Norway, MI.

With three spots opening up, Nick earned his way to become a 2009 ASA Midwest Kwik Trip Touring Star based on his performance and points standings and was able to maintain that standing throughout the year. Neville was one of four Touring Star drivers competing for the Lane Automotive ASAMT Rookie of the Year title throughout the 2009 season. He and the Buzz Motorsports team found themselves in a hard fought battle with Jacob Goede throughout the entire season, and all four rookies were in contention until the final event. Despite an impressive top ten finish at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in July, Neville found himself trailing Jacob Goede in the rookie standings.

Only four races later, after another impressive run resulting in a 6th place finish at Shakopee, MN, the driver of the Nicks Quality Lawn Care #32, rallied back and opened up a 16 point lead over Goede. He followed this up with a podium finish at Norway Speedway Labor Day weekend in his B & B Race Engines powered Lefthander Chassis. Despite the string of success, a disappointing 16th place finish at Elko Speedway bumped Neville into second in rookie standings, only five points behind Goede heading into the final even at Lacrosse Fairgrounds Speedway.

Nick and the Buzz Motorsports team never gave up and put everything they had into that final event. Unfortunately Neville fell short finishing 20th only one position behind Jacob Goede and found himself runner up in the 2009 ASAMT Lane Automotive Rookie of the Year. Despite the outcome, the Lucas Oil, Ben E Neville Trucking Service sponsored #32 team came out of their first season with the ASAMT finishing ninth in the final point standings and guaranteeing his spot as a 2010 Touring Star. As competitive as the series is, one can be sure that this ASA Kwik Trip Touring Star will be a top contender in the 2010 season.
