Humid temperatures, threatening sky’s a little color lightning and two divisions of competitors could not stop the Stanchina’s on Friday Night as Scott Stanchina ran away with the Pepsi Late Model A feature for his second win of the season. And Cousin Mike Stanchina persevered through numerous restarts to win his first Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Stock A feature.
Dillon Kralovetz won fast time in the Pepsi Late Model division for the second consecutive week with a time of 14.951 seconds, an average just over 80mph, and Ron Jenshak reclaimed his perch winning Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Stock fast time for the 5th time in 6 weeks, with a time of 16.310. Cody Skog clocked in at 18.8 seconds to win DQ-Dog Qualifying.
Troy Nelson took the lead from Jay Baumler with two laps remaining to win the Pepsi Late Model fast dash, while Mark Jenshak held off Mark Bubloni to win the Super Stock dash.
Pepsi Late Model heat winners were Putch Bently, Gene Coleman, and Matt Frazer, while Wes Thompson and Bill Delfosse claimed the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Stock heat races.
Mitch Curran assumed the early lead in the Pepsi Late Model semi-feature until Gene Coleman powered by on lap 9. Coleman would never look back as he won his second semi-feature of the season, 1. #119 Gene Coleman 2. #28 Ryan Hood 3. #28 Steve Debaker 4. #36 Tony Wells 5. #22 Mitch Curran

Scott Stanchina and Lightning McQueen – Driven by John Osterman led the Pepsi Late Model A feature to the green, and the race was basically over at that point. After an early battle with Osterman, Stanchina took control of the lead, and with one minor caution for a Jay Baumler spin in the early going, it was smooth sailing for Stanchina as he claimed his second Pepsi Late Model A feature in 4 weeks. 1. #41 Scott Stanchina 2. #95 John Osterman 3. #42 Matt Frazer 4. #52 Tom Lindquist 5. #1 Mike Reichenberger 6. #14 Dick Coleman 7. #19 Troy Nelson 8. #2 Dillon Kralovetz 9. #28 Ryan Hood 10. #119 Gene Coleman
Jesse Hedlund and Mike Stanchina led the Auto Value Bumper to Bumper A main to the green flag, as Stanchina and Hedlund raced door to door for the first 10 laps or so, until a caution flew, with Stanchina leading. This would be a common occurrence the rest of the evening as Mike Stanchina led the field as they smashed and spun behind him. Stanchina trying to hold on for his first ever Super Stock victory, had plenty of practice at restarts when the final one came with 2 laps remaining, but there was no challenge for the #16 Monster Monte-Carlo as Mike Persevered through 6 cautions and 1 red flag to claim his first Auto Value Bumper to Bumper Super Stock A main. 1. #16 Mike Stanchina 2 #39 Mark Jenshak 3. #11 Jesse Hedlund 4. #21 Jason Blohm 5. #9 Al Bilski

John Bordeau assumed the early lead in the DQ-Dog A feature, with Tom Golfis chasing him in second. Jim Stanchina drove up from the 12th starting position to the outside of Golfis and that is as far as he got to an all Stanchina victory night. Mark Moraska quickly shot through the field and around Stanchina, Golfis and the leader Bordeau and drove away for his second feature win of the season. 1. #38 Mark Moraska 2. #14 Tim Wilcox 3. #25 Gerald Dugre jr 4. #54 Tom Bordeau 5. #28 Cody Skog
