Events Shortened By Rain at Jefferson Speedway

JEFFERSON, WI (Saturday, August 29, 2009) The racing action at Jefferson Speedway came to a halt as the second half of Pernat Meats Fan Appreciation Night was about to roll onto the speedway.

Off and on rain showers slowed the program throughout the evening and finally ended it short of the feature events. Due to the rainout, next Saturday's program will feature the conclusion of the August 29th program as well as the entire program scheduled for September 5. Time trials will begin at 4pm with the first race at 6pm. The final events from August 29th will be run including the Twin 35 lap Late Model features. After those races are complete, the schedule will continue with a full program in all divisions highlighted by the Mountain Dew 50 lap Late Model feature as well as the Iron Man Races.
