BUCKNER, Mo. -- Officials with The O'Reilly MLRA Presented by Lucas Oil Products have announced the following schedule change for the Independence Day Holiday Weekend. The O'Reilly MLRA Super Latemodels will be in action at I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska as originally scheduled for a $3,000 to win show on Thursday night, July 2nd. The following night, July 3rd, will now see the race teams move to Park Jefferson Speedway in Park Jefferson, South Dakota for the Patrick M. Pinney Contractors Best of the Midwest 40 lap $4,000 to win main event. If that isn't enough, we will top off the weekend with another $3,000 to win race at Adams County Speedway in Corning, Iowa on July 4th.

This will be the first visit ever to the Park Jefferson Speedway by The O'Reilly MLRA. "This will save about 250 miles of driving for both drivers and fans alike", stated MLRA Promoter Harriett Chancellor. "We just felt like this was a win-win situation for all involved. This gives us a chance to visit the beautiful Park Jefferson Speedway for the first time and gives the 24 Raceway in Moberly a new date that works well for all of us."


Adrian, MO (April 26th, 2009)-Terry Phillips outran Al Purkey and Eric Turner to win the O'Reilly MLRA presented by Lucas Oil Products Jack Vaughn Memorial Saturday night at Adrian Speedway. Mike Collins had another outstanding run to finish 4th while defending Series Champ John Anderson charged from his 18th starting spot to round out the Top-5. Phillips Hatfield Powered GRT is sponsored by Don Babb Motorsports, Andy's Frozen Custard, and JFR Graphics.

Heat Race winners were Bill Koons, Terry Phillips, and Joe Kosiski.

B-Feature winners were Chris Smyser and John Anderson.

Adrian is traditionally one of the raciest little race tracks on the tour and this Saturday night should be no exception.

The gates open this Saturday night at 5:00pm with Hot Laps set to get underway at 7:00 and racing scheduled to start at 7:30. Adult admission is $15, 6-12 is $5, and race fans under 6 are admitted free to the speedway. Pit passes are $30. Action gets underway in 2009 on April 4th with a visit to the beautiful I-80 Speedway in Greenwood, Nebraska. This will be the season opener as well for the I-80 Speedway as IMCA Modifieds, and NASCAR Pro-Ams will also be in action. Action for April shifts to the Show-Me State with a stop at the "Diamond of the Dirt Tracks", the Lucas Oil Speedway on Saturday, April 11th. This will also be the season opener for Lucas Oil Speedway with support classes to be announced soon. Adrian Speedway concludes the month of April with the Jack Vaughn Memorial on Saturday night, April 25th.
