16-Race Schedule to Visit New Tracks and Current Ones, Too

Series PR Report
A companion race with NASCAR's Nationwide Series at Iowa Speedway, a return to Bristol Motor Speedway, and the addition of five tracks highlight the 2010 USARacing Pro Cup Series schedule that will visit nearly a dozen venues in eight states, it was announced Saturday by series officials.

The season for the nation's premier short-track series also was increased to 16 races next year with the Championship Series consisting of five events.

“The 2010 schedule represents our continued commitment to expanding the geographic footprint and the elevation of quality venues,” Larry Camp, the series managing partner, said. “We are tremendously encouraged by the support of the tracks on the schedule. They have exhibited their true partnership with the series. We believe the schedule will pay great dividends for all of our stakeholders.”

Concord, NC – April 5, 2009 – Young phenom, Trevor Bayne, overcame the greatest of odds in Saturday’s night’s exciting USARacing Pro Cup Series season-opener at Concord Speedway when he took the checkered flag for the Concord 250.

The 18-year-old Bayne was the fourth leader of the race and led the remaining 41 laps to capture his first win at the storied Concord Speedway and his third career win in the Pro Cup Series. What made the victory even sweeter was that only four days earlier, Bayne and the Chevy Racing team were scrambling to put together a crew, an engine package, and a race car to bring to the track.

It was evident by the wide grin displayed on this young man’s face in victory lane that he was extremely proud of all his team had accomplished in a few short days.

Concord, NC- March 11, 2009- USARacing is pleased to announce the BFGoodrich "GForce" Radial will be the Official Tire for the Pro Cup Series for 2009. This year will mark the 6th consecutive year that USARacing Pro Cup competition will race on the BFG "GForce" Radial.

"We are very happy to have BFGoodrich back with USARacing this year," said Series Director Jimmy Wilson. "With the proven history they have with the series and the engineer support they provide at each event, they were the natural choice."

BFG will provide an 11inch tire which was used in competition at Iowa and Rockingham in 2008. BFG conducted a successful tire test recently and information will be forwarded to USARacing teams as soon as the BFG engineers finish downloading data. "We feel this will help teams since we will not have as many different tire combinations from track to track this year," Wilson added.
