By Dennis Thompson

April 8, 2000; McFarland, WI. -  The Moore's Towing & Service/Columbus 151 Speedway Racing 2000 Car Show will take place at the Columbus 151 Speedway on Sunday April 16th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A special Tuning & Testing session will take place following the show that will give the opportunity to race teams to prepare their cars for the season ahead.   Both the car show and the tuning and testing session are open free to the public.

With Easter fast approaching, the Columbus 151 Speedway will also hold an Easter Egg Hunt during the car show to kick off the many kids activities planned at the speedway this season.

The car show is designed to promote the sport of auto racing and is open to all types of race cars from any track. Race vendors are also welcome. It is a good opportunity for drivers and race teams to promote the sport and give added exposure to their sponsors. It also gives the fans the chance to get up close to the cars and meet the drivers. Fans are encouraged to take pictures or have their picture taken with their favorite cars and drivers.

Among the latest entries are Jeff Falbe of Beaver Dam (96 Monte Carlo), a regular at the Columbus 151 Speedway and Mike Leobold of Gleason (99 Taurus), a competitor at State Park in Wausau and also at Tomahawk.

Car show set up will begin at 10:30 a.m. Anyone needing information about the show may contact Dennis Thompson at 608-837-7024 (evenings).
