August 26, 2005; Columbus, WI. - With the first race of the evening rolling out onto the raceway, the rains came and washed the night away this past Friday night at Columbus 151 Speedway. The falling water would not let up, and the night's events were cancelled. The drivers will start from scratch next Friday, Sept. 2 for the Pepsi Triple 60 Finale and Star Packaging Night. The highlight event will be a 60 lap late model feature. Also on tap is the 50 th Anniversary Fan Appreciation Night with spectator races and stock car rides at intermission. All past drivers and promoters of the speedway will be guests and are reminded to check in at the pit gate. Come on out and enjoy a great night of racing at the Columbus 151 Speedway. Qualifying begins at 6:15 with racing at 8 pm.
