Lap two saw the first of five cautions of the event. The restart allowed Ron Bishofberger to challenge for second and take the position for himself a lap later. Junget and Bishofberger began pulling away when caution number two flew over the speedway. After surviving two more cautions in the next four laps, the field ran yellow flag free for 17 laps with Junget out front followed by Bishofberger, Retallick and Jim Syvrud. With four laps remaining, Syvrud was helped around in turn two bringing out the final caution of the event. On the restart, Junget ran to the checkers followed by Bishofberger, Retallick, Dean Schultz and Wasserburger. Point leader Dean Schultz paced the late models in qualifying with a lap of 13.534. Heat winners included Butch Mierendorf and Al Weishoff.

Grant Lindner of Poynette made his way forward from the inside of row three to win the 30 lap street stock feature. Mike Amador and Ken Scott led the pack to green and Amador grabbed the early lead on lap two. Dennis Schwark followed Amador into second followed by Lindner in third. The three ran nose to tail until Lindner went to the high side of Schwark for second. Lindner moved ahead of Schwark and immediately went to work on the leader, taking over the spot two laps later. Meanwhile, Kevin Anderson maneuvered into the top five and was in third by lap 12. Anderson continued to work the high side moving into second three laps later, and began shadowing the leader, Lindner. The only caution of the race flew on lap 20. On the restart, Tim Syvrud would challenge for second on the outside of Anderson. Syvrud hung strong for a couple laps but got loose and would fall into line in third. With two laps to go, Anderson began looking to the high side on Linder but was unable to make a pass. Lindner crossed the line in first followed by Anderson, Syvrud, Don Trush and Schwark. Anderson also held down fast time with a lap of 14.169. Heat winners were Ken Scott and Zeke Bishofberger.

Watertown's Jim Tate took over the point lead at 151 Speedway with his victory in the 20 lap hobby stock feature. Travis Schneeberg and Brian Piller paced the field to green and the outside line led by Piller began moving forward. The restart saw Piller out front with Schneeberg in second and Tate in third. Tate immediately went to the outside lane past Schneeberg and alongside Piller for the top spot. The two competitors waged a fierce battle for the lead all the way to the checkered flag. They traded the lead several times, but at the line Tate owned the advantage. Piller, Andy Junget, Andy Raley and Alan Dorn rounded out the top five. Raley was quick qualifier and Schneeberg won the heat event.
