By Dave Panske

August 26, 2002; Sturgeon Bay, WI. - The 2002 racing season will come to a close this Saturday night at the Door County Speedway. The rain out this past week will make the final night decide three of the four track titles.

In the IMCA Modified division, Jared Siefert is the current leader holding a 431-424 margin over Dan Ratajczak. Both are looking for their first track titles. Former track champ, George Henkel is third with a shot at the title.

Defending IMCA Stock Car champ, Craig Paque is 9 points ahead of former title holder, Benji LaCrosse, 424-415. Both have run strong all year long.

The Bomber division has the top five drivers within 15 points and should be a real shoot out between them. Scott Reinhardt is the current leader by 9 points over John Knudson. Corey Haen, Wayne Moore and Greg Aregoni make up the rest of the top five. All are looking for a first track title.

Kevin Sternard holds a solid 39 point margin over Aaron Thornton in the Street Stock division. All Sternard has to do is enter the show Saturday night to clinch his first track title.

Racing on Saturday nights gets underway at 6 PM every week.
