Door County Speedway Wet Again! May 11, 2002; Sturgeon Bay, WI. - For the second straight week, the season opener at the Door County Speedway was forced back another week because of the weather. This week, rain started to fall around 4:30 and the call was made at 5:15 to postpone the opener until next Saturday night. The IMCA Modifieds, IMCA Stock Cars, Street Stocks and Bombers will take to the 1/3 mile clay oval for the first time starting at 6 PM. |
