July 30, 2006 - Jim Falls WI –  Heavy over night rains left the Eagle Valley Speedway far too wet to be prepared for any kind of racing Sunday, especially given the poor drying conditions that Sunday presented. So, reluctantly, promoter Jerry Weigel cancelled the scheduled show for the Eagle Valley Speedway.

Next Sunday, August 6th , racing will resume on what is scheduled to be WAXX 104.5 F.M. & Quality Propane night at the track. Race fans are reminded that the late models will have the night off Sunday with the other five classes running their normal program and adult admission will be only $10. Race time is 6 p.m.
