The 1997 Season Opener for Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car was cancelled due to extremely wet conditions due to rain which fell late Friday evening and Saturday morning. The season opening events are now scheduled for Saturday evening May 10th.
Racing will take place in the Winged Super Modified, Limited Late Model and Super Stock divisions at the Sheboygan County Fairpark located in Plymouth, WI.
Gates will open at 5:00 pm, with Time Trials to get underway at 6:00 pm. The racing begins with heat events beginning at 7:00pm.
Over 100 cars are expected for the program in the three divisions.
