Steady rains forced the cancellation of the Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car racing program Saturday Night for the fifth time this season.
The Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car competitors will be off next Saturday Night, as a special racing event will be held on Monday Afternoon (Labor Day) during the Sheboygan County Fair. The program will have a 1:00 P.M. starting time.
Racing will take place in all three divisions, the Winged Super Modifieds, Limited Late Models, and Super Stocks. Saturday Night racing action will resume on September 6th, 1997, and the season championship will be held on September 13th, 1997. Those evens complete the 1997 racing season with Eastern Wisconsin Stock Car and will determine the track champions for this season.
