Manitowoc Cancels Practice.

Manitowoc Expo Raceway's practice was called due to persistent rain showers. The much anticipated open practice for the improved facility was planned for May 3, 1998. Racing however will begin next Sunday evening, May 10th, on the high-banked 1/3 mile clay oval.
The weekly racing program will feature 360 Sprints, IMCA-type Modifieds, Dirt Sportsmen cars and the ever popular two-man Cruisers.
Sunday night racing will continue throughout the summer with numerous specials including the IRA Outlaw Sprints and UMP Late Models. Manitowoc Expo is the only eastern Wisconsin area track to feature Sprint Car racing on a weekly basis.
