March 2, 1998; Lake Geneva, WI. - It's hard to believe, but winter is nearly behind us. With oval track racing gearing up in the Midwest in less than three weeks, drivers are looking to show off their new rids at the 21st Annual BARS "Let's Go Racing" Auto show held this year from March 25th through the 29th. Lake Geneva Raceway has been a part of this show for many years, and it's drivers have won numerous awards. The great thing about this show is that drivers can meet the fans one on one, and it's the only FREE show to the spectator and participant anywhere in this part of the country.
The show takes place at the climatically controlled Lake Hurst Mall. The mall is located on Routes 120 and Interstate 43, just west of Waukegan, IL. Drivers who know their car is going to be ready should contact Mike Babicz the promoter of the show at (847) 855-0019. Race cars will enter the mall after closing on Tuesday night March 24th at 9:00 pm, and the show will run from Wednesday through Sunday.
It's a great opportunity for drivers to show off their car and give their sponsors a good plug with new exposure in the Lake County, IL area. We hope to see you all there.
