April 25, 1998; Lake Geneva, WI. -   For the first time this season, rain washed out the Mid-American point series event and the regular racing program at Lake Geneva Raceway.  Rain hit the raceway before the start of the third Mid-American Stock Car Series heat race.

Only qualifying and dash races were completed in the Late Model and Herb's Super Stock divisions before the rain fell.   Fast qualifiers in each class were, Randy Rogers in the Lake Models, R.J. Malec in the Mid-American Sportsman and John Janssen in the Herb's Super Stock class.

A change in the printed schedule will be as follows.  This coming Saturday on May 2nd, City Auto Sales of Waukegan, IL will present the crusin' under the light car show.  Plus a 1989 Pontiac will take the Prolong challenge, right after the dash events.

May 9th, the Jasper Engines and Transmission night, the rescheduled Mid-American points series show will be held in place of the Twin 25 lap features for the Late Models as was listed on the original schedule.

Racing continues every Saturday night, with time trials at 6:00 p.m. and the first race at 7:30 p.m. sharp.
