Luxemburg Tri-Star to open this weekend!

April 26, 1999, Luxemburg, WI. - The Luxemburg Tri Star Speedway jump starts their 11th season of operation this Friday night, April 30th. The popular week ending program will again offer 4 divisions on the 1/3 mile clay oval.

The IMCA Modifieds headline the card and defending champion, R.M. Van Pay of Green Ray will return to try for a fifth Tr-Star title. Last years runner up and   a former 2 time champ, Brian Mullen will also be looking for a return to the championship.

The IMCA Stock Cars saw growth last season in weekly count and was headed by first time champion, Joe White. White will be back looking for a second straight title, last years point chase runner up, Brian Bruechert is eyeing the 1999 title as is Rod Snellenberger.

Jason Czarapata won his first career track title at Tri-Star last year and will be the top runner for a second straight title. He has a new car and won the opener at Seymour last week.

Cousin, Brandon Czarapata also has a new car at his disposal this season and looks to move up a notch this year.

The Sport Truck division will return this year and the title will be up for grabs with last years title holder, Frank Vickman announcing his retirement after getting his trophy at the banquet. The division grew last year and several other trucks are expected this year.

The weekly program start a 7:00 p.m.,  every Friday night. The Luxemburg Tri-Star Speedway is located at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds in Luxemburg, WI.  Luxemburg is approx 15 miles
east of Green Bay on HWY 57.
