Racing resumes at 'The Berg' this Friday!

August 3, 2001; Luxemburg, WI. - Weekly racing will return to the Luxemburg Tri Star Speedway this Friday night, August 10, to kick off the final three races of the 2001 season.

A complete program of IMCA Modified, IMCA Stock Car, Street Stock and Sport Truck racing action will take to the 1/3 mile clay oval at 7 PM this week for a full point show for all divisions.

The track will shift gears for a special Thursday night program scheduled for the following week, Aug 16. Tri Star will host an IMCA National Modified and Midwest Motorsports Stock Car Special. It is the first time in over 10 years that the track has hosted a National event and several traveling cars are expected to swell the pits for the event that pays the Mods 1500 and the stocks 1000.

Pit gates open at 4 PM with the grandstand at 5 PM. Racing starts at 6:30 for this event. The Street Stocks and Sport Trucks will be off on the 16th. Friday night, August 17th will be the rain date if needed.

The season will come to a close on Friday night, August 24th when all four divisions return for the final point night of the season. Racing returns to the normal 7 PM time on the 24th.
