May 25, 2001; Luxemburg, WI. - A full week of rain and cold weather proved too much a hurdle for the Luxemburg Tri Star Speedway to deal with, forcing promoters to cancel their scheduled racing program Friday night. The ground was to the saturation point and the pit area was too wet to use. Drivers safety and the quality of a soggy show would not be in anyone’s interest. Racing will return next Friday night, June 1, with a full program of IMCA Modified, IMCA Stock Car, Street Stock and Sport Truck racing action. |
