Luxemburg, WI. - The Luxemburg Tri Star Speedway will open their doors for
the start of their 14th season this Friday night, April 27. The recent nice weather has
provided the time to get the construction projects nearly completed. A new pit entrance
and security fence between the pit area and parking lot has been installed. Lighting in
the pit area has been upgraded and the sound system has received some work as well.
Four divisions will once again make up the weekly racing programs at Tri Star. The IMCA
Modifieds will headline with Brian Mullen setting out to capture a third straight track
title which would also be his fifth at the track.
Eric VanIten is returning to defend his first career track championship in the tough IMCA
Stock Car division.
The Street Stock division will be open as defending title holder, Travis Van Straten will
be moving up to the Stock Car class this summer.
The Sport Trucks return this season to the full schedule with Kevin Strebel coming in as
the two time defending track champion.
The Luxemburg Tri Star Speedway is located at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds in
Luxemburg. Pit gates open at 5 PM with the spectator gates opening at 6 PM. Racing starts
