Luxemburg Speedway Drivers Meeting March 14th!

March 3, 2002; Luxemburg, WI. - Luxemburg Speedway will host a driver's meeting Thursday night, March 14 at 7 p.m. at the Rendezvous Pleasure Palace on County Highway N in the town of Luxemburg.

Lakeshore Motorsports Promotions Inc. (LMP) is the new promotional group that will host weekly stock car racing at the new Luxemburg Speedway in 2002 at the Kewaunee County Fairgrounds. LMP was awarded the bid in late February. "With the season not too far away this meeting is crucial for driver's to attend," said LMP track manager Rick Goral. "Some of our key personnel will be introduced and we'll outline our plan and schedule for 2002."

IMCA modifieds, IMCA stock cars and street stocks will compete weekly at the third-mile clay oval. Sport trucks, Door County Speedway bombers and a yet-unnamed entry level division will be on the weekly card. Some special events involving classes that have not raced at Luxemburg in many years will also be announced soon.

Rendezvous Pleasure Palace is located four miles south of the race track on County N in the town of Luxemburg. From Green Bay it is approximately 11 miles east taking County Highway V. Then go north on N to the Rendezvous Pleasure Palace.

From Luxemburg go south four miles on County AB to County N. Go west on N approximately one mile to Rendezvous Pleasure Palace.
