Gary Back topped the Late Models for qualifying, Cale Laessig in the CWSSA Super Stocks. Danny Heinritz of Green Bay took fast time in the Mid-America Super Trucks and Rodney Feltz in the 1-Man Cruiser division.

Tom Reffner took the early lead in a no caution CWRA Late Model feature. Reffner held on through lap nine, but lap ten Mark Mackesy took it away. On lap 12 Rory Melbinger broke into the top five spot. Melbinger then proceeded to take fourth from Dean LaPointe and then third from Joe Krzykowski.

On lap 20, Melbinger grabbed second from Reffner, but with only five laps left in the race he didn't have enough time to catch Mackesy. Mackesy won, Melbinger second, Reffner third, Krzykowski fourth and LaPointe fifth.

Judd Brandl turned in a strong performance this evening, recording his first CWSSA Super Stock feature win of the 1999 racing season at Marshfield.  Brandl also qualified second fastest in the class this evening and finished second in the dash. 61299b.jpg (13606 bytes)

Lap 14 Laessig passed Weinfurter and set his sites on Brandl. Laessig was unable to take away the lead. Brandl won, Laessig second, Stelzer third, Weinfurter fourth and Jason Szymkowiak fifth.
