John Frazier set fast time for the night, qualifying him for the big event. Paul Menard won the last chance race, Jeff Weinfurter second, Jesse Hasse third and Rocky Breezer fourth, qualifying those four for the feature.

Brian Back took the early lead in the 50 lapper. Mark Eswein was following in second, Doug Drost third. Lap two Rory Melbinger took third from Drost, while Eswein was working on taking the lead from Back.

On lap 18, Eswein got past Back, and on lap 20, Melbinger took second from Back. Back grabbed second back from Melbinger the following lap. Lap 29, Melbinger was able to get by Back for good, taking over second. A spin on lap 32 took Back out of the race and Wayne Breitenfeldt moved into third. The top three held their positions until the checkered flag lap when Breitenfeldt passed Melbinger for second. Eswein won, Breitenfeldt second and Melbinger third.

Judd Brandl (#27) may have finished second in the CWSSA Super Stock point standings this season at Marshfield but he was the division's most prolific feature winner.  Tonight he paced all but the opening two laps of the Super Stock feature en route to another victory. 9499b.jpg (21116 bytes)
