On the re-start Grunden was still in his seven-lap lead. Mike Brahmstedt was behind Grunden before the caution but Weinfurter grabbed second for a lap. Brahmstedt reclaimed it and then took the lead on lap ten. Mark Eswein who came from 12th spot was right behind Brahmstedt.

On lap 11 Grunden and Mark Kraus were involved in a spin in turns three and four, sending both to the back of the pack. Lap 15 Eswein took the lead from Brahmstedt with Weinfurter right behind in second. On lap 22 the leaders spun out sending both Eswein and Weinfurter to the rear.

The caution came out again on lap nine. On the re-start Merle Weinfurter got by Stelzer for third. Bell got loose on the backstretch and lost several spots, placing Weinfurter second and Stelzer third. Cale Laessig was moving through the field and on lap 14 passed Stelzer for third. Pat Hinner moved through the field and got past Hansen on the next lap for third and then passed Kemp for second.

That was short lived as Kemp got ahead of Hinner for the next two laps, but that didn’t last long either as Hinner had second for the next three laps. Kemp then got by Hinner for the last time and the last three laps. Fisher won, Kemp second, Hinner third, Dave Keays fourth and Hansen fifth.
