Weather cancels final event of season at Marshfield!

October 13, 2001; Marshfield, WI: - The October 14 races cancelled, the Two-Man Cruiser Banquet postponed to Saturday, October 20.

Due to the prediction of cold, wind, 70% chance of rain and possibly snow, the race scheduled for Sunday, October 14, 2001 is cancelled. We are making this decision early so as not to waste anyone's time or money. We would like to thank everyone who helped prepare, attend sponsor, and participate in the first annual Fall Spectacular and the Fifth Annual Race of Champions. We hope to make next year's event bigger and better. Everyone pray for better weather.

Two-Man Cruiser Banquet
The 2001 Two-Man Cruiser banquet will be held on Saturday, October 20, 2001, at Marshfield Super Speedway, in the VIP building. The free food will be from 5 p.m. til 7 p.m., award presentation at 7:30 p.m.

Payout
Each Super Late Model driver that participated in Friday's events will receive a check. The checks will be mailed on Monday, October 15, 2001. We realize that many of you traveled to get here and bought pit passes. This is the most fair and fastest way we feel we can get you your money. There will be no refunds on two day passes due to the payout the drivers will receive.

Refunds
Those drivers and crews in the Super Stock, 4-Cylinder, and One-Man Cruiser divisions will receive refunds. To speed up the refund process we request that you have your driver contact us to receive the refund for himself and pit crew members. Drivers please send a letter stating your name and division and the names of those in his pit crew requesting a refund to:

Please also include the wristbands, the address where you want the check sent and a phone number where you can be reached. The checks will be written out to the driver unless otherwise requested.
