May 6, 2001; Marshfield, WI: - As the rain threatened the racing events for the night, Rory Melbinger set fast time in the CARQUEST Super Late Models. Allan Sankey was quick time in the CWSSA Super Stocks and Johnny Bell had a clean sweep in the 4-cylinders. Travis Zvolena set fast time in the 1-Man Cruiser division. Bob Gereau led the first six laps of the 4-Cylinder feature. Johnny Bell worked his way from his 12th place starting spot to the lead on lap seven. Gereau stayed with Bell but was unable to regain his spot. Bell won, Gereau second, Mike Petersen third, Doug Adams fourth, and Frank Wilhelm. The rain came just at the start of the Super Stock feature and forced the end of racing for the night. Next week will be double features for the Late Models, Super Stocks and 1-Man Cruisers. In addition to the double features will be the Legends and the 2-Man Cruisers. The night will be sponsored by Weber Farms Milk Store, Nasonville Dairy and WCCN The Rock 107.5FM.
