August 22, 1998; Marshfield, WI: -  Heavy rains which swept throughout the area in the late afternoon forced the cancellation of the scheduled Wheeler, Geo. Pontiac, Cadillac / Snap-On End of Season Championship night of racing.  The complete show has been rescheduled for next week, August 29th.

It will be the final points night on the half-mile paved oval for the CWRA Late Models, CWSSA Super Stocks, Pure Stocks and Cruisers.  In addition powder puff races are on tap for the event.  Miller Time Trials at set to begin at 5:30 p.m., with racing action getting underway at 7:00 p.m. 

On Sunday afternoon August 30th, the Midwest Enduro Stock Car Series will be on hand for a 250 lap event.  The cruisers will also be on hand for the show.

Racing will wrap up for 1998 with the CARQUEST Auto Parts Invitational on September 12th.  The $19,000 Dodge Dakota Sport Race Truck which has served as the pace vehicle all season will be given away to a lucky fan.  The rain date for this special event will be September 19th.
