The 3/8 mile high-banked
asphalt oval features
Weekly Saturday Night Racing program.
About Midway Speedway: Built
in 1983, Midway Speedway, formerly Lebanon I-44 Speedway, recently went under new
management. Harold and Jeanette Armstrong, along with their family initiated a new
adventure. Harold, and the family have racing experience, as Harold and his son were
former drivers in the Super Street Division.
With a focus on family entertainment, the Armstrongs have committed themselves to the fans
and drivers to bring the best racing on asphalt in the Ozarks. Saturday nights will
feature five divisions of fans paced action on the 3/8th mile high banks, in addition fans
will be treated to
some Friday night specials.
With fast paced action on the track, fans arrive early. Getting their favorite seat
in the grandstand, or if you like to have a little more
space, the "wildside" may be for you. Come early, get your favorite parking spot
so that you can watch all the action. Fans bring their
coolers and grills for a night of fun and entertainment. The "wildside" fans,
make the drivers know that they are there, as on the parade laps, horns honking along with
lights flashing tell the drivers the fans are ready to go racing.
Not to be outdone, the grandstand, cheers from comfortable seating, where there is
not a bad view of the racing action that is taking place on the track. Once the green flag
drops, race fans cheer for their favorite driver in five competing divisions.
Racing action begins with the gates opening at 5:00 p.m., hot laps start at 5:30 p.m. and
the feature action at 7:30 p.m. Don't forget to visit with the drivers in the pits after
the conclusion of the night's racing actions.
