Scenes from a race night at I-44 Speedway!

Fans get ready for another action packed evening of racing at I-44 Speedway. Every Saturday night five divisions of racing take to the racetrack.

The view from the stands is excellent as seen here with action visible all the way around the track.

The racers enjoy the challenge of the 3/8 mile high-banked asphalt oval. In all five divisions take to the track with fans enjoying the NASCAR Grand Americans, Late Model Stocks, Modifieds, Street Stocks and Pure Streets. Nearly 100 cars compete weekly.

A full house salutes the American flag during race opening ceremonies. Here the fast qualifiers take their parade lap prior to the start of racing events. Shown on the frontstretch are fast timers from the Grand American, Modified and Street Stock divisions.

Even the fans get into the action at I-44 Speedway as fans are invited 'trackside' to meet and greet their favorite drivers. It give fans a chance to see the race cars up close before they challenge the 3/8 mile raceway.

Each year before the season begins it's show time. Race vehicles that compete at I-44 Speedway can be seen at area malls before the action begins on the raceway. Drivers and crews do their best to make their race cars look as professional as possible for these shows. Nearly 100 cars compete weekly.

We are racing! A field of Street Stocks get ready for a feature event as an official looks on. With a wide, banked asphalt track the racing is wheel to wheels all the way around the raceway. It takes a great deal of skill and patience to work your way to the winners circle at I-44 Speedway.

This is where everyone wants to be at the end of the evenings, victory lane! #75 Larry Phillips has had the 'hot setup' the past couple seasons at I-44 Speedway taking not only several track titles but the National NASCAR Winston Racing Series championships as well.
