April 20, 2002; Lebanon, MO. - Continous heavy falling rains from Last Night and currently have forced the officials at the Lebanon Midway Speedway to cancel this evenings racing action. It's a shame because everyone is really pumped-up for this new era to begin in Ozarks Local Racing and Mother Nature keeps throwing us a curveball. With alot of drivers coming from as far away as Okla, St Louis, Arkansas, and even an hour away from Springfield and Rolla we are trying to think of them getting ready and hauling down to Lebanon. It just doesn't look like a halfway decent night to race and when we cancelled this morning at 9:30 a.m. it was a solid sheet of rain coming down. The track will try to get action underway next Saturday Night with the pit gates to open at 4 pm, Grandstands at 5 pm., practice at 5:30 pm and racing at 7:30 pm sharp, with our Late Models, Sportsman, Modifieds, Superstocks, Bombers and likely the Baby Grands.
