Enduro Rescheduled as Weather Rules the Day at Midway Speedway! By Tim Berrier

May 24, 2002; Lebanon, MO. - The Special Friday night edition of racing at Lebanon midway Speedway fell to rain and weather for this weekend.

The track was set to run its first ever Enduro Special paying 4000 to the winner and over 40 pre-entries had already been recieved. This special 4 wide start had the area buzzing with excitment and ready for racing action.

The event will be ran now next Friday Night as the Enduro is the first of three scheduled for this season.

"With flood warnings in the area and the distance that drivers were coming,we called off around 11AM and at 4PM the high-banked 3/8ths Asphalt oval was still very damp.We wanted this to be really special and mother nature decided it for us."
"We are still on for our regular Sat Night points show this weekend with the Late Models running a 75 lap special paying around 1500 to win."

The Enduro will now be ran on Friday Night May 31 along with a special 40 lap feature for the Modifieds paying 1000 to win and 100 to start,and we might have another class on the card also.Gates will open next Friday Night at 5 and racing at 8,while our Sat shows start at 7:30."
