Lebanon's Midway Speedway Set for BIG WEEKEND!

June 26, 2002; Lebanon, MO. -  The Lebanon Midway Speedway is preparing for perhaps its biggest show of the current season as The Fourth Of July Celebration is this weekend.

The 3/8ths mile High-Banked Asphalt Oval will host the BabyGrand Stockcar Missouri Asphalt Nationals along with a local 50 lap Late Model Special paying points show.

This is the 4th consecutive season the Midway has hosted the Nationals as drivers from Missouri, Arkansas, Indiana, Colorado, Texas are preentered as the track expects as many as 24 or more cars for the 2/3 scale spec racers."This show is one of our biggest" quoted Tom Cravens as the drivers love coming to Lebanon-it gives them a special feeling seeing all those people watching them.

The Track will also host a big Fireworks Show after the racing Action is completed for the evening."We enjoy doing this show and race for everyone and it gives the Lebanon and surrounding areas a common place to enjoy time and entertainment for the entire family"quoted track announcer Ron Williams."We feel that its our chance to showcase the facility,give to the community,and let everyone see what is happening out here each Sat Night.With our regular 5 classes-Late Models, Sportsman, Modifieds, SuperStocks, and Bombers and add to that mixture some of the best BabyGrand Racing around-and to top it off with a Huge Fireworks Show-well its family at its best".

The Gates open in the Grandstands at 5PM with practice to begin at 5:30 with the first race at 7:30 sharp while the "WildsideTier Parking will open its gates once they start lining up on Old Historic Route 66.

Admission is norma pricing as Grandstands are Adults $8,Kids 13-15 $4,and as always kids 12 and under free or the Special Spring Family Package Price of 2 Adults and 2 kids 15 and under for $15.00. Tier Parking is $10 for Adults,Kids 13-15 $5,and 12 and under $2.
