Midway Speedway to Try Opener Again Next This Saturday!

April 17, 2002; Lebanon, MO. - The high banks of the Lebanon Midway Speedway will try again this weekend to have the season opener after rain forced cancellation this past Sat.night.

There will be a kid's treasure hunt starting around 7(right after practice) for the kids 12 and under in the infield area.
Also 6 classes of cars will be racing as the Regional Babygrands will be on the card this weekend.

80 Raceteams had checked into opening night last week,and several more are expected as several drivers are finishing up there racers.

Gates will open at 5 in the Grandstand area while the "WILDSIDE" Tier Parking area usually opens alittle earlier.Rainchecks from last Sat.night will be honored as the season long points battles begin with practice slated to start around 5:30 and the first race at 7:30
