Fan Interaction Page -- The Racing Online Opinion Polls!
line.jpg (762 bytes)

Welcome: During the off-season Racing Online will be presenting various polls on racing related subjects.  These "polls" of course are unofficial but will undoubtedly be a conversation piece during the lull between racing seasons.  We hope you enjoy this new feature.

This poll is asking you, the fans, directly which tracks we need to spend our time on to join the service.  While we do make every effort to contact every track we can, time is becoming limited here right before the start of the 2000 season.

We will make every attempt to add "two additional" tracks, that are not currently a part of Racing Online for the upcoming season. ( Keep in mind that if you don't see you favorite track we may already be talking to them or have them already online.)

We will leave this poll up until March 25th, and will make every effort to contact those top two finishers.

Please take the time to make you opinions count.

Which tracks should we try to add?

Tracks to try and add to Racing Online for 2000 Season!

The Racing Online Forum Type Poll!

The options will be as follows:

A) Leave it the same as now, allow for "constructive" debate, without the need for an e-mail address and name.

(Key note: The word constructive is completely up to what my moderators decide is constructive, it will be their choice... the ONLY was to insiure your message stays will be to leave a name and e-mail address.)

B) Keep it simiular to the way it is but require either a full name in the message body OR an e-mail address on comments "deemed negative".

(Keynotes: Again it will be up to moderators to decide what is "deemed negative", and further they will decide if the e-mail or name is legitimate. imhere@ucantfindme.com won't cut it folks.)

C) Leave the board the way it is but stick to the plan and "require" BOTH and e-mail address and name on all "non-informational" postings.

(Keynote: This means informational postings only, if your message is designed to generate a "counterpoint", you will have to put your e-mail address AND name on the posting.

D) Switch software to a registered board, where a person could browse all they want, but would only be able to post after register their name and e-mail address.

(This is the same type that is used by the IMCA discussion forum and commercial sites such as 4M)

You wanted choices.. you got 'em.
