The line up for each race will be posted on the board next to the infield concession area. It is the driver's responsibility for knowing what races and what position within that race he will run. While infield officials will help, do not expect to be told each race when and where you run. If  you need help with the race line up; you may ask any one of the infield officials.

Cone restarts after caution laps will occur on the front stretch. As the lead car approaches the cone on the front stretch the green flag will fly. All cars must pass between the cone and the outside wall on restarts. Cars must be nose to tail until cone is passed. If you jump the restart the race will continue, however you will be penalized a minimum of two positions, or two positions for every spot gained. Drivers are expected to be within one car length of the car in front of them on restarts.

\Coneless restarts may take place on the front straightaway.

Start / Finish line at Riverside Raceway is at the flag stand. If your car is determined to be unsafe or illegal for the class you are running according to Riverside rules you may not be allowed to race at Riverside Raceway for that night unless the part(s) in question have been fixed, changed or repaired. All cars in question will be inspected by Riverside Raceway tech personnel, and will be at the discretion of their decisions in all cases.

There will be no drinking of alcohol in the pit area or infield until the conclusion of the entire race program. Subject to fine and suspension. Pay close attention to Flag and both sets of traffic signals.

If time permits, hot laps will be run by class, with four to five cars running at a time. Hot laps will run from 7:40 p.m. until approximately 7:50 p.m. Draw cut off will be at 7:15p.m. Drivers meeting will be held at 7:30. Attendance is mandatory.

RACE START
Any car entering the parade lap late will start at the rear of the field.

PIT LANE
If you pull into pit lane under caution you will join the field at the rear. If more than one car is in pit lane under the same caution, the order you exit pit lane will determine the order you line up. No racing on pit lane! You will not be scored crossing the finish line on pit lane.

A car causing a caution will start behind all cars on pit lane that are on the lead lap. You will have as long as needed in pit lane during track clean-up on caution laps, however when the track has been cleared and racing is set to resume you will need to join the field (at the rear) before the green flag. A track official will hold you in pit lane if the pack is nearing the re-start of the race. If you pull out in front of the field preparing for green flag racing, ignoring pit lane officials, you will be black flagged. Once racing has resumed, you will be allowed to reenter that race but will be a lap down as you didn’t take the green.

If you pull into the infield pit area, you cannot resume the race in progress.

No pit crewmembers allowed on pit lane during green flag conditions. Once race is restarted, pit crewmembers must leave the pit lane area at once. Failure to do so could result in your car being disqualified for the remainder of the night. Cars not re-entering the race must be driven to the infield or left unattended on pit lane, leaving room for other cars to maneuver around your car. Driver may stay in car with their seat belts attached and helmet on until the end of the race. Drivers are not allowed to pit during heats.

Drivers and crewmembers may walk the track during intermission or before the program begins to check the track conditions.

The driver of the car is responsible for anyone associated with that car. This includes all pit crewmembers, friends, spouse, or any other person signed in under your car number. The driver will be responsible for the conduct of those people before, during and after the race program. Any misconduct by those associated with your car could result in the penalties and or fines called for by Riverside for misconduct.

CAUTIONS (YELLOW FLAG SITUATIONS)
All cars responsible for bringing out a yellow flag will go to the rear of the field. Track officials with the best view of the incident will determine this, and their decision will be final. If a driver becomes involved in a unavoidable incident, due to a caution situation and was not the cause of, or directly involved in bringing out the caution, he may retain his position from the last completed lap, based on the decision of the track official with the best view of the incident.

Any driver causing two cautions in one race will be black-flagged. This does not mean a driver may only be involved in two cautions only that he may not cause them.

Any car or driver responsible for intentional stoppage of a race will be black-flagged. Intentional stoppage will be determined by the track officials.

During cautions, accidents, and red light situations, drivers must remain in their car and pit crews must not enter track unless requested by track officials. Any authorized track repair or assistance by driver or crew will be treated as a pit stop.
Any loose or dragging bumpers, loose hoods or other body parts that pose a threat to other drivers may be grounds for a black flag.

No starting or restarting on a flat tire. Any car running on a flat tire may be subject to a black flag. Any lapped car may be subject to a black flag. All lapped cars must yield to all cars running on the lead lap. As of the first race of the season there will be no time limits on any races, however Riverside Raceway reserves the right to institute time limits on races for future programs if many caution periods are causing race programs to run long.

If a track official has made a call determining fault in any yellow flag situation and is later told by another driver involved in the same incident that he was the cause of me caution, the call of the track official may be reversed and cars positioned accordingly. A track official must be notified by the driver admitting to the fault before the restart of the race. If not done so by that time, the track official's original call will be upheld and the finishing order of that race will be final. This is known as Riverside Raceway's Gentlemen's agreement.

CLASS JUMPING
A car may move up a class, but not back a class, in a season. A driver may move up a class, but not back a class, in a season. Points will not transfer from one class to another.  One car can run in only one class per night. A driver can run only in one class per night with the  exception of Wissota Street Stock and Midwest Modified, however we will not delay the program to accommodate this. Riverside Raceway reserves the right to allow exceptions in the interest of better racing.

These track rules and procedures have been implemented and distributed to provide drivers, crewmembers, track officials, and fans with a race program that will be fair to all drivers and exciting for race fans. We have tried to eliminate as many judgment calls as possible by instituting instant replay, however, there will still be times when decisions are based on what track officials, as a team, determined to be the correct decision based on any given situation at that time. There will be no prejudice shown to any drivers or crew and all race teams will be treated equal. Any calls made during the race program may be discussed with track officials at the conclusion of the race program provided the proper conduct is maintained. Keep in mind that track officials' decisions are final.

Riverside Raceway reserves the right to prohibit any car, driver, pit crew, race team or those associated if it is felt that a participants presence or conduct is not in the best interest of the sport of auto racing, other competitors, spectators, track management and (or) employees of Riverside Raceway. Riverside Raceway reserves the right to alter or change any rule at any time if in our opinion it benefits the racing program. Remember we are here for the same reason you are.... We enjoy motor sports racing!
