Nosser Nabs A-Mod Victory at Riverside as Late Models appear!

June 11, 2002; Eagle River, WI. - It was a great night for race fans last week at Riverside with a special feature of Late Mode cars… The rain held out and fun was had by all.

In the Bandit Feature we saw Tim Miller take an early lead and kept it until the finish. Jim Nieckula took second while Wade Morris placed third.

Micky Nosser didn't start with the lead in the Miller Lite A-Mod Feature but that couldn't stop him in the end …Tad Schoonover worked hard in the last laps to take second and Mike Vogt took third in the last lap.
Looking at the Pure Feature race we saw Maryls Scharf didn't start out in the lead this week but that did not stop her from taking first again. Fighting for second was the 15 car driven by Jon Mills and he took home second and finishing in third was Dan Melton in the 81 car.

Everyone took their places early in the Street Features and stayed with them until the end we saw Ryan Glembin take the first place position in the second lap and hold on till the end, Fritz Scharf took a fast second and Ken Valeria fought for third Kevin Maulson take fourth in the end.

Next week will have a full show and in addition there will be a Celebrity race. It will feature Steve Brown from Newswatch 12, Black Bart Joc for Z104 and back to defend his title Mister Moe Michael from the nightly sponsor WRJO radio also represented tonight will be the Vilas County News Review and the Lakeland Times.
