Announces Details for Street Stock Special!

August 4, 2004; Eagle River, WI. - Riverside Raceway announced on
Wednesday the details of an upcoming WISSOTA Street Stock Special. The race, which will be
called the Eagle River 30, will be held on Tuesday, August 24 with a rain date of August
31. $300 will be on the line for the winner in the 30-lap feature.
The special is the third in a series that ensures each class at Riverside Raceway gets
their night to shine. July 6 was the original date for the Up North Poured Foundations
Firecracker 40, the special for the Miller Lite WISSOTA Midwest Mods. Rain postponed the
event to July 20 when Jerry Grasse lead the final 21 laps to claim his third of four
feature victories on the year at Riverside
Riverside's 3rd Annual 4-Cylinder Shootout, which brought together 4-Cylinder cars from
across the Northwoods and Upper Peninsula of Michigan to duel for $200 was held August 3.
Eli Gustafson continued the dominance of his KGL Racing team, making the winning pass with
eight laps to go and checking out for the win.
The final special of the season will be for the Pure Stocks. The race date for this event
will be Season Championship Night Sunday, September 5. Details for this special have not
been finalized at this time. The race is bound to be exciting as not only will increased
pay be on the line, the track championship will be on the line as well.
