Rusty Wallace in 2000!

December 30, 1999; Slinger, WI - Race Fans will be treated to a special event at the Slinger Super Speedway in the 2000 racing season, with a special event featuring Winston Cup Champion Rusty Wallace.  Wallace will be visiting the world’s fastest ¼ mile oval in June of 2000. Race fans that have purchased Season Tickets will be entitled to spend the night’s events with Rusty Wallace and other VIP guests at the tracks VIP Pavilion. Race fans may purchase season passes and you may visit with one of Nascar finest stars by contacting Lanae Weyer at 414-358-1525.

Rules for the 2000 racing season are out, to obtain a copy of the rules for the 2000 racing season send $5.00 to Slinger Speedway 1639 Hwy 83 S. Hartford, WI 53027.

Tire Selections have been made for the 2000-racing season. Late Model and Modifieds tires will be the Hoosier tires, the same as 1999 season.  Slinger Stingers tire selection is Hoosier F53 or Street Tires and the Team Cruiser Division will be street tires same as the 99 season.

Slinger Super Speedway Awards Banquet will be Saturday night, February 26, 2000. The banquet will be held at Circle B Recreation Center, located at 6261 Highway 60 in Grafton, WI. Slinger Speedway will honor Track Champions and drivers accomplishments from the 1999 season. Ceremonies will begin with guest registration and a cash bar cocktail hour at 6:30 pm, followed by dinner, the awards/accomplishment presentation, and dancing.

Drivers and Crew Members who purchased Track Membership cards will be sent RSVP Invitations in January.  As in the past the banquet will be open to the public and to any sponsors and supporters on a first come-first serve basis. Advance tickets to be obtained by calling Lanae at 414-358-1525.
