Track Championships to be decided next Friday night!!

August 20, 1999; Bolivar, MO. - It has been a very exciting year at Speedway USA and
this Friday night will be the acculmlnation of a season's hard work for the four divisions and the Bolivar KART Series.

 This past Friday night, Larry Phillips drove his #75 machine to the winner's circle once again. This season has seen different drivers come to the winner circle of the Grand AMerican Late Models, which is what has made each week exciting not only to the fans, but the drivers who put themselves to the challenge each week.  In the second place spot, Tim Swearengin finished ahead of Springfield's Steve Holt. Fourth place went to Jerry Kelly and fifth place Jim Hunt.  Mike Hoover place sixth, Tony Jackson, Jr.-7th, Derryl Lockhart-8th, Tim Parson-9th and Ron Polodna-10th.

David Bates powered his #91 machine across the finish line ahead of his brother Jay Bates for the victory in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Modifieds. Brian Schutt took the third position, Bryan Kapica-4th, Lendall Alexander-5th and Jim Hayes-6th.

In the Street Stock Division, Scott Johnson posted the win. Second place went to Andy Jenkins, third place Toby Harden, fourth place- Jared Brown, fifth place-Clyde Long and sixth place-Steve Bias.

Jerry Garretson made his way to the O'reilly Winner's Circle in the Pure Street Division. Ron Polodna was able to finish a strong second. Jeff Richardson took third, Don Scroggins-4th, Steve Shaw-5th.  It was Dan Polodna-6th, Chuck Fers-7th, Ron Stokes-8th and Greg Cherry -9th.

Mark Bartley showed his strength in the Baby Grand Division as he took the victory. Chet McDowell, how has been strong all season placed second.  Third place went to Neal Kimble, Charlie LeFors-4th, Troy Gaddy-5th and Shane Loney-6th.

 In the Bolivar KART Series, Heavy Division winner was Chance Hines. Second place was that of Brad Neely, Bryan Neely-3rd. Fourth position went to David Taylor, Chris Newman-5th, Travis Jones-6th, Jim Yates-7th, Tony Johnson-8th, Jeremy Shumand-9th and Jon Cunningham-10th.

 In the Medium Division, Chance Hines scored another victory finishing ahead of Bryan Neely and Tara Vaught.  Fourth place went to Brad Neely, David Taylor-5th, Bill Goin-6th, Travis Jones-7th, Matt Lakey-8th, Chris Newman-9th and Tony Johnson-10th.

 Daniel Shirley brought his machine across the line first in the Jr. II Division. Robbie Bryant finished second and Jacob Magnin took third. John Gibson was in the fourth place spot,  Derik Quint -5th, Cody Elliot-6th, Jeremy Kelly-7th and JJ Gummond-8th.
