Thunder Hill racers recovering from Street Car accident!
By Dave Panske

June 14, 1999; Sturgeon Bay, WI. - By now, most local fans have probably heard of the accident on Wednesday night, June 9th, involving Todd "Felix" Dart and Charlie Kroll, following the races at Shawano Speedway.  Charlie was released from the hospital in Shawano on Thursday night with a back injury which will sideline him for the rest of the season.

Todd was airlifted from Shawano on Wednesday night to the Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah.  Although he had several serious injuries, he has improved greatly over the weekend, and was in a regular room on Monday.   He will be in the hospital for awhile yet and will not be racing for the rest of the season.  Todd is the defending IMCA Modified champion at the Thunder Hill Speedway in Sturgeon Bay and had just taken over the point lead this season, just a week ago.  Charlie had won the last two IMCA Stock car features at the Hill and was climbing in the points after problems did not allow a strong start to the season this year.

Get well wishes can be sent to Charlie Kroll at 910 Stadler Ave., Algoma, WI  54201.

Todd Dart is in room 255 at the Theda Clark Medical Center, 130 Second Street, in Neenah, WI  54956.
