July 23, 1999, Chilton, WI - Scott Sippel of Elkhart Lake pulled off an easy win to claim his fifth feature win this season! His stands first in points above Muskego racer Scott Uttech. Joe Pantely was the polesitter of the twenty lap mini-sprint feature. Tom Wardlow and rookie racer Danny Mentzel made up the next two starters. While Pantely stayed out front the first circuit, Sippel worked his way up to Pantely's rear bumper in a hurry.
By lap two, Sippel made the pass for the lead in turn three. Behind Sippel were Pantely, Tim Frerichs, and Mike Kertscher. Last years Mini-Sprint champion, Kertscher, made a daring pass for second, looking for the lead. Scott Uttech also on the move up to the fourth position. Jeff Harder from Glenbeulah brought out the first caution when he spun in turn four. He collected the cars of Wardlow and C. J. Wagner.
On the restart, Sippel would retain the pole, followed by Kertscher, but Appleton racer, Kevin Eggert would start third. Sippel easily took the win, he was followed by Kertscher.
